Dr. J’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
3/8 cup shortening
3/8 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon water
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups oats
2 cups raisins
(can sub chocolate chips, craisins, white choc chips)
1 cup coconut
Combine all non-dry ingredients- cream together. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Combine all together, add in extras.
Make into a ball and flatten half way.
Bake 8-9 minutes at 350.
